Project: WestCAT – City of New Carlisle, Ohio
WestCAT was a local transportation system in need of a visual identity for their new fleet of buses, as well as for advertising. I worked with the city of New Carlisle, OH to develop a design. They wanted to play with the acronym “CAT” (West County Area Transit), so I created several logo concepts with this in mind. Here are photos with the design they chose. It was decided to change the cheetah to black, to reflect the colors of the local high school.
The client elected to update their colors to a darker theme and to reverse the direction the cat is running. They also preferred to have the word "West" presented in lower case.
